Chuck & Becky: Downtown Wedding

We're always excited to see where our couples decide to hold their wedding and reception. It gives us so many ideas on places to photograph these lovely couples and their wedding parties. This wedding was no exception. Becky and Chuck wanted to include a little of the city life they both love but still embrace the feeling of closeness for family and friends. A rustic church was the setting for the ceremony while an open floor ballroom was chosen for their reception. These two amazing people met online and found their one and only: each other. Each individual style was apparent while combining both was flawless at the same time. A little bit of old school mixed with a touch of modern day new school.

We took Becky and Chucks bridal party photos in the Guthrie Museum in downtown Minneapolis. This spot was perfect! To add to the character of the entire day, the first snow fall of the season started happening right as we were walking into the building. The entire bridal party was  a blast to work with and we were able to capture their personalities in every photo. When it came time to photograph the bride and groom, we had the opportunity to showcase the love and affection this couple has for one another. That's something every photographer strives to capture and we got so many shots, it was hard to pick our favorites.

As the night wrapped up, we were truly thankful and happy for this couple. They were surrounded by loved ones and had a night to remember. We wish them the best of luck for the future and can't wait to photograph them again! Thank you Becky and Chuck!

Steph & Blake: Traveling Duo

What can we say about this couple? The only thing that comes to mind is that we love them! I've known Stephanie for a few years and when she came to me about photographing her wedding, I had to say yes! Steph and Blake are some of the sweetest people we know and we could't wait to photograph their special day. When the day came, the sense of excitement could be felt in the air. Both the bride and groom have an incredible sense of humor, so there was always laughter coming from their rooms while getting ready. This couple loves the outdoors and being able to travel. What better way to showcase that than at the Grain Mill in Downtown Minneapolis? The rustic touches lent itself to the nature around us but also lent us that touch of city life that the couple share by working in the area.

During the entire day of photographing this amazing couple and their bridal party, we were able to catch moments that really tell the story of how much this couple loves each other and the people in their lives. We are so thankful to have been a part of it and wish we could capture them everyday!

Danielle & Colton: Orchid Wedding!

The very first wedding to be done by STILLCODA! Even though we specialize in music and portrait photography along with our band interviews, we couldn't help but say yes to this amazing couple! Danielle and Colton had everything planned and detailed down to the dot. With influences from Wizard of Oz, who wouldn't want to shoot this wedding?

The couple held the wedding in a small town in Wisconsin at a place called The Orchard. It's rows of apple trees, pond, willow tree and historic background, it turned out to be the perfect place for this couple. Everything from the yellow flower petals, dog down the aisle, movie theme song to a stunning bride and groom, this couldn't have been a better first STILLCODA wedding.

Here are some shots from the beautiful day!
